TGen Bioinformatics Research Unit Online Tools

This page links to online tools created by the TGen Bioinformatics Research Unit. Many of these use technologies created at TGen such as the BioParser Project. Many of the online tools simply call scripts that are used in standalone mode within TGen. In those cases, the webpage will provide a link to the script documentation. These scripts are not provided for download but are available for local install by contacting John Pearson

Identifier identifier

Takes a list of unknown biological identifiers and attempts to identify them by matching against a repository of identifier patterns (regex). Relies on BioIdentifier Initiative software.
